Hosts of the defunct talk show “Startalk” have reunited at the wake of Joey de Leon’s late mother Mrs. Emma Manahan Ramos-De Leon who passed away last February 10. She was 93.
In an Instagram post shared by Lolit Solis, she shared how she missed Joey and their co-host Ricky Lo whom she has reunited with at the wake of mommy Emma.

She wrote: “Parang na-miss ko ang grupo ng Startalk nang magkita kita kami nila Ricky Lo at Joey de Leon sa wake ng mother ni Joey na si Mommy Emma, Salve. Hitsurang nasa wake kami panay kuwentuhan namin. Si Eileen na wife ni Joey talagang asikaso lahat ang nakiramay. Si Joey hindi alam ng tao napaka-religious na tao, Marian devotee at every Sunday ay nagsisimba. Sumasama siya sa pilgrimage at talagang siya ang nagturo sa akin na kung wala akong makitang catholic church pag nasa abroad ako, kahit anong simbahan pasok ako at magdasal dahil house of God pa rin iyon. Palabiro lang si Joey pero madasalin. Sabi nga ni Julie Yap Daza kaya inabot ng old age si Mommy Emma dahil her son Joey always make her laugh. True. “Startalk” first aired in 1995 and concluded last 2015 with final hosts Lolit, Joey, Ricky, Butch Francisco, and Heart Evangelista.
