Amid doing separate projects following the height of the AlDub love team’s fame, phenomenal star Maine Mendoza assured fans that her team up with her ‘Eat Bulaga’ co-host Alden Richards is still there.
In her interview with Pep and other members of the press during an endorsement event, Maine was asked about her team up with Alden and how the changes affected the two of them.

Maine said: “Nandiyan pa rin po ang AlDub, kasi every day naman kami sa Eat Bulaga po, and wala namang ginagawa sa amin… Wala namang any announcement na pinaghiwalay na or anything.”
“Pero siyempre, yung nangyayari sa career ko, kinu-consider ko na rin na na-refresh, na parang nag-grow din ako as a person, as a host, as an actress, as a celebrity, o kung ano man,” she added.
Maine is currently starring in the Kapuso sitcom ‘Daddy’s Gurl’ with Vic Sotto and has an upcoming movie with Carlo Aquino.
Alden, meanwhile, starred in the movie ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ with Kathryn Bernardo and is set to star in an upcoming Kapuso series which is yet to be revealed.
Maine and Alden were last paired in the 2016 film ‘Imagine you And Me’ and in the 2017 television series ‘Destined To Be Yours’.
Last 2018, Maine was rumored to be dating Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde whom she has worked with in the movie ‘Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles’. Earlier this year, the two confirmed that they are ‘exclusively dating’.
