Boxer turned Politician, Senator Manny Pacquaio, in doing his part to help with COVID-19 outbreak, has donated 700,000 surgical face masks for the ‘’Frontliners’’.
Since the first case of Corona Virus infection arrived in the Philippines last February, masks and alcohol have become well-sought-after goods. The supply for masks steadily dwindled until no stocks were left on the market.

The people manning our checkpoints, the PNP and the AFP, and MMDA along with those from the healthcare sector, DOH and RITM are in desperate need of such protective equipment.
On an Instagram post by actor Robin Padilla, a photo of the senator and multiple boxes of surgical masks is seen with a cation that reads, “Nagdonate si Sen. Manny Pacquiao ng 700,000 pirasong face masks para sa PNP, AFP, MMDA, DOH at RITM para protektahan ang frontlines kontra #COVID19.”
