Kapuso prime time queen Marian Rivera aired her reaction over reports that her and husband Dingdong Dantes’ DongYanatics supporters have been allegedly bashing the actor’s new leading lady Jennylyn Mercado in the upcoming Kapuso series ‘Descendants of the Sun.’
In her interview with Pep, Marian said that she does not believe that their fans could do such bashing.

She said: “Hindi ako naniniwala na sinasabi iyan ng mga maka-DongYan. Kasi, ang maka-DongYan, hindi makikitid ang utak.”
“Kung sino ang partner namin, alam namin na 100 percent ang suporta nila,” Marian added.
Jennylyn was recently introduced as Dingdong’s leading lady in the Pinoy adaptation of the hit Korean series.
In an Instagram post, Jennylyn expressed her gratitude for being chosen to portray the lead character int he show and wrote: “Hi everyone.
Minsan lang ako magpost about my projects and hindi ko mapigilan ang sarili ko. I am super happy to portray Dr. Maxine De La Cruz of Descendants of The Sun The Philippine Adaptation. When I heard they started taping already and preparing for the soap, ako din nacurious kung sino nga ang napili para sa role. When I learned that it was me, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for GMA’s trust and also pressured since I know how big this project is. I promise I would do everything to give justice to the role. I won’t let you all down.
