TV host Mariel Padilla expressed her love and support to fellow TV host Toni Gonzaga after the later stepped down as the main host of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).
Toni was criticized and ridiculed by netizens after her stint as host during the proclamation rally of presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos.
In an Instagram post, Toni made known her decision to step down as host of PBB:
“Today, I’m stepping down as your main host… I will forever cherish the memories, big nights and moments in my heart… Thank you Kuya for everything… This is your angel, now signing off…”
On the comment section, Mariel, a co-host of the said program posted the following:
“I love you toni. You are a friend and a sister FOREVER ❤️ welcome to the outside world, toni.”
Another co-host of PBB, Bianca Gonzalez also expressed her love and support to Tony by posting the following:
“@marieltpadilla 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ Nobody can ever take your place and do it like you @celestinegonzaga, nag-iisa ka. Love you both.”
Mariel responded by posting the following comment:
“@iamsuperbianca friendship goes beyond work, beyond religion, beyond politics… beyond it all. Go make us proud B! You got this! 👍🏼 we believe in you!”
