In her Twitter account, Maris finally responded to rumors about her alleged relationship with Sue and insisted that they are just friends.
Maris replied to a netizen who said that they should come out if they are actually a couple and wrote: “Ganyan naman po talaga kami ni Sue eversince naging magkaibigan kami. Nagka malisya lang po dahil sa mga emojis na ginagamit namin. Di naman kami nagalit, In fact po natuwa po kami kasi andaming sumusuporta sa LGBT. Pero wala po kaming relasyon. :)”
