Mark Herras: “Maghanap kayo ng ibang macocontent”

Actor Herras took to social media to deliver a blistering rebuke to vloggers and “fake news” peddlers who exploited a recent video of him in distress. His message was clear: His life is not your content.

Mark posted a video of himself visibly emotional, crying, and clearly overwhelmed. While fans and fellow celebrities immediately flooded his comments with genuine concern and prayers, a darker side of the internet saw an opportunity.

Within hours, “clickbait” headlines began to circulate. Misleading stories claimed the actor was “breaking down” due to unemployment, financial ruin, or a fading career.

Mark clarified that he is working. He has income. He is surviving. The problem, he pointed out, isn’t the work itself, but the way people weaponize narratives: reducing a person’s worth to whether or not they are constantly seen on television or trending on social media.

Mark’s message was simple, even if the emotions were heavy: stop assuming, stop exploiting, and remember that people are more than the stories you create about them.
