Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso signed an executive order that will temporarily ban the sale and distribution of any drunkening drinks such as beer, alcohol and wine starting Monday, March 30, 2020.
The mayor was disappointed with the ongoing violation of some of social distancing and the curfew implemented by the city due to assembly and drinking reports outside the home.

“Yesterday there were drunk people, there were still karaoke, hanging out on the road, having a party party. Now, so you don’t have any reason to find alcohol,” said Mayor Isko.
“Prohibidden and taking back privilege to liquor-selling stores. You can’t sell alcohol tomorrow. Any violation shall lead to the revocation of Mayor’s and Business Permit,” warns the Mayor.
