Manila Mayor Isko Moreno made sure that the teachers and students of Manila will be prepared as they welcome the new normal for education – most of which will be starting their online / blended learning as part of the country’s measure to control and spread of COVID-19.
Students will take their lessons online rather going to schools physically. Mayor Isko will be distributing 11,000 notebooks to teachers and 136,995 tablets for students.
On his Twitter, the good mayor said:
“This effort of your city government is to help every student and teacher to continue studying and adapt to the new normal of education. Ito ay tulong na rin natin sa mga magulang para maibsan ang kanilang hirap na mapaaral ang kanilang mga anak.”
