Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto expressed his honest thoughts and sentiments as he warned the public over political candidates who are ‘buying votes’.
In his Facebook page, Mayor Vico shared to his fans and followers an alleged ‘vote-buying’ as a lady told her that some candidates were giving away cash to the voters. Mayor Vico also shared an example as he sent a warning to the voters that when political candidates spend big, they would want to recover it once they were elected.
Sabihin nating 1,000 people per day ang nakakasalubong nila (low estimate).. Nasa 200 days mula filing ng candidacy hanggang halalan..
300 pesos x 1,000 x 200 = 60,000,000.
The truth hurts, but it is the truth: ANG MALAKI GUMASTOS SA KAMPANYA AY MAS MALAKI PA ANG BABAWIIN.
We have already started to break this cycle.
#TuloyAngPagbabago #IbaNaNgayon.” Mayor Vico wrote on his post.
