Kapuso reporter Mel Tiangco expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments over the news that ABS-CBN’s program ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ is set to end after more than three decades.
In a press conference for the 20th anniversary of her Kapuso program ‘Magpakailanman’, Mel admitted that she was saddened over the said news.
“I’m sad, I mean I don’t like that. I don’t like that. Kasi ano na yung Maalaala Mo Kaya, classic na kumbaga… noong panahon ng pandemic, akala ko katulad lang namin e talagang walang taping kasi pandemic. Akala ko ganon. That’s really sad… I’m sad for Charo.” Mel shared.
“I hope it’s not true because walang makakapalit sa Maalaala Mo Kaya. It is a class of its own. Hindi biro yung pagka natapat ka ruon sa Maalaala Mo Kaya, ay naku, magdasal ka na sa lahat ng santo. Hindi mo aano yan, hindi mo matatalo.” Mel added.
