Eat Bulaga mainstay Miles Ocampo shared that TV host and actor Joey De Leon apologized to her the day after Joey’s “pataba” joke directed to Miles.
Joey was accused of body shaming Mile for his remark.
In an interview with entertainment reporter MJ Marfori, Mile revealed that Joey was so concerned after realizing that his statement triggered a lot of reactions from netizens.
“Si Boss Joey sa mga Dabarkads, sya po yung taong sobrang updated sa lahat. Kaya po nung lumabas yung issue na yun, updated sya agad. So next day talaga parang ‘uyy sorry ha, yung mga tao nag-react” said Miles.
“Sabi ko Ok lang po Boss Joey, sa amin wala lang yun. hindi lang sanay ang mga tao na marining yung ganun.” Miles added.
“Sa Dabarkads, bawal ang pikon dun. Sanay lang sa mga bawat banat at hirit ng isa’t isa, so walang problema po,” she said.
