Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo’s mother, Min Bernardo penned an emotional and heartfelt message for her as she turned 26 years old.
In Min’s Instagram account, she shared a short video which contained several throwback photos of her daughter, Kathryn taken when she was still young. According to Min, she is grateful that her children are healthy and doing great on their career. However, there are times that she can’t help but be sad as she is longing for her kids.
“Bilang isang magulang nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng blessings na binigay ni Lord mula sa pagkakaroon ng maalwan na buhay, maayos na kalusugan, mababait at maaayos na career ng mga anak😊🙏 Ano pa nga ba ang hihilingin ko? Wala na, di ba?
Kaya lang dumadating ang time na nalulungkot ako, longing for my kids, may nasa malayo at may nasa tabi mo lang, pero still parang ang layu layo nila. Dati nung maliliit pa ang mga bata, kahit san ka pumunta, nandyan sila humahabol, gustong sumama, ayaw mahiwalay sa iyong tabi😌but now, big and grown up na, they have their own priorities, responsibilities, and decision in life.
Naaalala ko ang sabi ng Nanay ko, sana di na lang kami lumaki… now gets ko na ang ibig niyang sabihin…
Here, another kid is getting older and want freedom😌 My bunso is not baby anymore😌” Min wrote in the caption.
Min also sent a heartfelt message to Kathryn as she expressed her wish for her on her special day.
“Kath, on your 26 years in this world , you achieved a lot, you work hard and naging mabait na anak, kapatid at kaibigan. Sana kahit i gave your freedom, dont forget to learn and accept words of advice and be wise in making decisions.
Stay being sweet and caring, be true to yourself always… dyan ka minahal ng totoong mga kaibigan na nakapaligid sayo… MALIGAYANG KAARAWAN, anak🎂🥂” Min added.
