Miss Universe Catriona Gray was criticized by one netizen for posting photo while she’s at the beach during the Lenten season. It is not clear where Catriona is but on her Instagram account, the beauty queen posted the following caption:
“Where I’d rather be to escape the Philippine summer heat I unfortunately wasnt able to get vitamin sea on my short trip back home to the Philippines but the beach is where my mind will be!”
One netizen commented on the photo by posting the following message:
“Holy Week is not about vacationing…”
To which Catriona replied:
“Yes I agree. Holy Week is not about vacationing. Holy Week is a very meaningful time for Christians (like me), Catholics and other faiths but as I speak to an audience of an array of faiths and beliefs, within and outside of the Philippines, I want to be inclusive with the conversations I pose on social media.”
