Netizens accused TV host Luane Dy of imitating how Maine Mendoza look, even to the extent of saying that Luane is flirting with Alden Richards. Luane who is a mainstay of GMA-7 morning show Unang Hirit is now part of the afternoon noontime show Eat Bulaga where Maine and Alden is also part of.
On her Instagram account, Luane posted her OOTD photo, and some netizens posted the following comments:
– “Ms. Luane paki usap tigilan mo dikit na dikit kay alden nkkahalata kna at mahiya kana nman kay maine at BF mo kay carlo ska wag ka masyado ppansin at pa bida sa EB di kna nkkatuwa!!”
– “Nag bago si Luane Hindi siya ganyan mag damit”
– “Kahit damit ni maine ginagaya nya kahit hindi bagay sayo @luziady ang tanda mo na para magpakita ng kuyukot wala ka bang sariling style at pag nagsasalita kay alden lagi nakatingin matandang ilusyunada”
Carlo Gonzalez, the boyfriend of Luane came to her defense by posting the following:
– “Kasalanan ko ho naman kung bakit niya ginagaya si maine sinabi ko rin pong magpapansin at dumikit siya kay alden. Gusto namin po sila ma solo eh. Sa kanila po kasi umiikot ang mundo namin tulad niyo at ng iba pang kokak dito. Wag na po kayo magalit baka ho atakihin pa kayo dyan. Isama niyo na yung iba pang palaka dito sa session niyo ng self righteousness seminar. Basta’t lagi pong pakatandaan.. say no to drugs! ?✌? O napansin na po kayo ng mga tao dito ha. Ok na? Ang bubusy kasi @sharenad @chtdeleon24”
Carlo also thanked all those who defended Luane:
– “To everyone who came to Luane’s defense against these bullies.. Thank you! I won’t tag all of you anymore kasi ang dami niyo pong sumusuporta. Know that I appreciate it. We’re just two people trying to make our marks in our respective careers and are passionate about what we do. People like you make it all worth it! God bless you po”
