The world is grieving over the passing of NBA icon Kobe Bryant after a helicopter crash claimed his life and his 13 year old daughter Gianna. Basketball and sports fans in general were mourning the death of a great athelete.
Local celebrities are no exception. Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro and others have already posted their message of love for Kobe and his family.
Singer actress Regine Velasquez-Alcasid also posted a photo of Kobe on Instagram with the caption “Sad day 😢 #RIPKobe”.
But according to some netizens, Regine initially spelled Kobe as Coby and Regine got bashed for the mistake from netizens prompting the Asia’s Songbird to tweet the following:
“I always make a mistake with spelling someone name you can correct me without embarrassing me and it’s ok. I have dyslexia I have a hard time with spelling. Please be kind again you can correct me without making me feel bad.”
