Congressman Kuya Jose Antonio R. Sy-Alvarado in a tweet by ABS-CBN News Channel said that a ‘yes’ vote means lawmakers will not give the network a new franchise while a ‘no’ would mean the committee will give ABS-CBN their franchise.
