Some netizens got annoyed after actress Isabelle Daza posted a photo showing her and a male companion wearing a ‘vaccinated by Pfizer’ cap. The now deleted photo showed that Isabelle got her vaccination in Hongkong.
Some netizens felt that the photo is a bit sensitive considering that not all Filipino will be given the chance to be vaccinated with the said brand.
Here are some of the comments from netizens:
– “The Pfizer vaccine is not available in the country where majority of their fanbase are so yes this is them flaunting their privilege. Context matters”
– “Having been vaccinated by either European or American jabs does not mean you are high & http://mighty.No need to flaunt it w those unnecessary stuff. At the end of the day the goal is to achieve herd immunity.Pati ba nman sa vaccine dpat pasaringan ng branding.”
– “She could have just said na she got vaccinated. Tapos, she could have encouraged her followers to do the same. But to flex na she got Pfizer, when it is not accessible to everyone, yun ang mali nya. The wearing of the cap says it all. No need sana for them to wear the caps.”
– “The classy thing would have been to have keep quiet about the whole vaccination issue given that a lot of Filipinos are still struggling to get vaccinated.”
– “Ginawang bragging rights yung vaccine brand Smiling face with open mouth and cold sweat but what do we expect ba from isabelle daza?”
