Lalong lumalalim ang hidwaan ng pamilya Barretto. Bukod sa hindi pagkakaunawaan ng magkakapatid ay nagsalita na rin si Nicole Barretto laban sa kanyang Tita Gretchen Barretto. Ayon kay Nicole ay inagaw daw ni Gretchen ang kanyang boyfriend. At ayon sa balita ay ang tinutukoy ni Nicole ay si Atong Ang.
Sa mga post sa Instagram:
“I just want to inform you that I wasn’t thrown to the States. I was there to move on from what Gretchen and Atong did to me. I am stating a fact that my own aunt stole my boyfriend. The next travels for the states was for my education. Since I do have an education and finished a doctorate. Just so you know. Thank you po.”
na sinagot naman ni Gretchen ng: “Oh I’m sorry. I was told Nicole stole Atong from her aunt Claudine.” Idinagdag pa ni Gretchen: “Don’t try to be Bea Alonzo. She is the true victim.”
Sinabi ni Gretchen na magsasalita din sina Atong Ang at Tony Boy Cojuangco upang malinawan ang lahat ng issue patungkol sa kanila.
