OPM band Orange & Lemons reported did not like what singer actress Francine Diaz did during the “Governor and Vice Governor’s Night 2024” at the municipality of San Jose in Occidental Mindoro where the band was scheduled to play as well.
Based on the video posted and now circulating online, Orange & Lemons was about to perform when Francine came out of the stage and asked that her music be played.
It was obvious that there was some confusion as to who will perform firt, but Francine decided to do her number via acapela. It can also be seen on the video that the band decided to leave the stage when Francine was performing.
The band went back on stage to do their performance. But before they start, the band’s lead guitarist Clementine Castro said the following statement:
“Gusto ko lang manghingi ng paumanhin pero kailangan kong sabihin ito para sa mga artist. kasi dapat kaninang 11 pa kami dito eh. So sana naman walang sumisingit… Respeto lang ba”
