Parents expressed their concern over their kids health after the Department of Education announced that the opening classes will be on August 24, 2020. DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones made the announcement in an online press briefing hosted by Secretary Martin Andanar.
Sec. Briones said her department will explore all possible means in delivering lessons to students.

“Puwedeng virtual, puwede ring physical sa mga lugar na ina-allow ang physical na pagbukas ng eskuwelahan,” Briones said.
After the announcement, parents expressed their concern if it is already safe to allow their kids to go to school given the COVID-19 pandemic still unresolved.
