San Miguel forward Arwind Santos has been drawing flak online after he made a ‘monkey’ gesture towards Terrence Jones during the Game 5 of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup finals.
In his Instagram account, Terrence expressed his condemnation over Arwind’s gesture and called for a “swift, significant” action to be taken by the PBA.

Meanwhile, in an interview, Arwind insisted that he will not apologize to Terrence, saying: “Magso-sorry ako? Hindi. Depende ‘yun sa kaniya. Kung mapipikon siya, totoong monkey siya. Kung ‘di ka mapipikon, ‘di ka monkey. Kami nang-aasar lang.”
“Kami nga magka-kapatid nag-aasaran din kami. ‘Di ko naman siya kaano-ano. Gusto lang namin manalo. Kung mapikon siya, hindi ko na kasalanan ‘yun. Ganiyan talaga basketball,” Arwind added.
Arwind has since been gaining flak from netizens and has become a trending topic on social media.
