President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. gave PhP 1 million each to all the 22 Filipino athletes who represented the country in the recently-concluded 2024 Paris Olympics.
Aside from the cash incentives, all the athletes will also receive Presidential citations.
The President also asked the athletes to help the government to improved its sports program by informing them what they need. The President committed that they will help and do their best to addressed their problems.
The President congratulated all the athletes for the hard work and perseverance and for the prestige and honor they provided the country.
