Actor Philip Salvador announced that he will be running for senator in the coming 2024 midterm election. Salvador made the announcement during a PDP-Laban event.
Salvador will be running under the PDP-Laban political party.
In his speech, he thanked all his supporters particularly former President Rodrigo Duterte, Senatoe Bong Go and Senator Robin Padilla who were all present during the said event.
“Tinatanggap ko po ang aking nominasyon para sa 2025 senatorial election.’ said Salvador.
“Mananatili ako sa PDP hanggang sa huli kong hininga. Tandaan ninyo po yan. Maraming salamat po. Ako po si Phillip Salvador, hindi po ako abogado, hindi po ako doktor, hindi po ako engineer, ako po’y isang artista ng PDP na magiging epektibong magserbisyo sa mga Pilipino.” Salvador added.
