Actor Philip Salvador filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) to run for senator in the coming 2025 election. Salvador run under the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP) party.
Together with Salvador, reelectionists Senators Christopher Lawrence Go and Ronald Dela Rosa also filed their COC.
During the press conference, Salvador presented his plans in case he secures a senate seat. One of which is the rehabilitation of illegal drug users.
“Hulihin sila para mabigyan sila ng pag-asa. Sa akin kasi ayoko ng hinuli ko pinatay ko, ayoko ng ganoon— gusto ko mabigyan sila ng pag-asa.” said Salvador.
“Kailangan maiayos ang mga may pangangailangan sa buhay, tanggalin natin ang kahirapan, tulungan natin silang magkatrabaho hindi sila magiisip na mapunta sa droga” Salvador added.
