A video greeting of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach to Kapuso star Sanya Lopez has resurfaced and circulating online.
It can be recalled that few years ago, Pia expressed her support to Sanya if ever she decided to join beauty pageants. Pia presented herself to train Sanya.
“Whenever you’re ready we’re here waiting for you. Kung gusto mong mag-train, kung gusto mong sumali, alam mo na kung sinong lalapitan mo. Would be happy, happy, happy to help you…” Pia said.
In a virtual interview for GMA-7’s “24 Oras” with Lhar Santiago, Sanya expressed her thoughts and opinions to those who were urging her to join beauty pageants. According to Sanya, she wanted to explore the world of pageantry. However, with her busy schedule over her Kapuso shows, it was hard for her.
“Actually, gusto ko rin naman i-explore yung part na yun, yung pagiging beauty queen…Kaya lang talaga sabe ko, sa ngayon na maganda yung binibigay sa akin ng GMA Network, marami akong projects na ginagawa sa ngayon dahil sa GMA e, talagang ang hirap iwanan po talaga.
However, it appeared that Sanya is not closing her doors to the possibility of her entering the world of pageantry.
“So sabi ko kapag naman pinalad naman tayo of course at doon talaga tayo papunta, eh tingnan natin, di ba?” Sanya said.
