Megastar Sharon Cuneta recently held a successful anniversary concert as she celebrated her 40th year in the industry.
In her Instagram account, Sharon shared a video of President Rodrigo Duterte’s message for her as he was not able to watch the concert due to “some present problems” that needed his urgent attention.

Despite not being able to attend the concert, the Megastar thanked the president for his sweet message as he called her “the singer of my life”.
Sharon wrote: “Tatay PRRD DU30 (GongDi) missed my Davao concert because he was supposed to fly to Davao from Bukidnon. Then the weather turned bad and he had to go by land, so of course it was a long drive, and he couldn’t make it back in time. Then because of far more pressing matters, he missed my 40th at the Araneta also. Naturally naman. There are more important things than a concert when you are the President of the Philippines! No Gong Yoo na nga, Tatay Gong Di pa! Hahaha! Joke lang po! Thank you for this message, Mr. President! It means so much to me. May God guide and bless you always.”
The Megastar is the wife of Senator Kiko Pangilinan who is a member of the Liberal Party.
