President Rodrigo Duterte expressed his disappointment and anger to a cop who was involved in the killing of a mother and son in Tarlac. Police Senior Master Sgt. Jonel Nuezca shot mother and son – Sonya Gregorio, 52 and Frank Anthony Gregorio, 25 after figuring in a discussion.
In a press conference, President Duterte reiterated his love and support to the men in uniform in general but it has certain limits.
“”Hoy, kayong mga pulis, ha, mahal ko kayo kasi nagtatrabaho kayo. Do your duty, enforce the law. Your actions must be in accordance with the law. You do not follow the law, salvage ka, magpatay ka diyan, then I’m sorry that’s not part of the agreement of how we should do our work.” said the President.
“I am just wondering why he was able to nakalusot sa neuro, and I’m sure that by now he should not be allowed to go out because double murder yon. Pakainin niyo ng COVID yung ulol na yon.” Duterte said.
“Be sure that he is detained. He should not be allowed to go out kasi serious offense yan. There’s no bail so hindi maka-bail yan. Diretso-diretso na yan,” added Duterte.
