Singer actress Regine Velasquez-Alcasid admitted that in as far as her singing career is concerned – it is no longer her time. Despite this reality, Regine is thankful for what she has achieved and for still being part of the industry she love.
In her interview with ABS-CBN News entertainment correspondent Ganiel Krishnan for the current affairs show “Tao Po,” Regine was candid enough to say that she feels blessed that she is able to still do the things she loves to do.
“I know that it’s no longer my time, but I’m still here. And I’m still doing what I love to do most, which is performing, singing, recording, doing ASAP. So, I’m very blessed that I’m still able to do this,” Regine said.
“”hose kids in ASAP, kapag humihingi ng advice, talagang I would just really give it to them. I’m happy that I’m able to inspire other artists. ‘kung kaya niya, kaya ko rin. Magpupursigi lang ako, magpra-practice lang ako’,” added Regine.
“God gave you this wonderful talent and you should share it with everyone. The way I see it now, hindi naman tayo basta singer, we entertain people and we inspire people. And hopefully, we inspire other artists also.” she said.
