Asia’s songbird Regine Velasquez could not help but express her dismay over a netizen who made negative remarks about her and her husband Ogie Alcasid.
On Instagram, Regine shared a screenshot of a comment from a netizen who criticized her Instagram photos as well as her way of singing and called her and Ogie insulting names.

The netizen wrote: “@ogiealcasid talaga naman nakakasawa na yung pangit mo pagmumuka sa IG magsama kayo ng balyena mo asawa walang ginawa kundi magtitili sa TV masakit na satenga yung boses pweeeeeee nasaktan ka kasi totoo magsama kayo chaka unano at balyenang laos”
Regine then wrote in the post’s caption: “This is so sad now I understand why there are celebrities who deactivate their social media accounts. There are so many “mean” people out there who wish ill on anyone who experience the simple joys in life. I feel sad for you. Again if you do not like us unfollow and daling gawin hindi hindi mo na kami makikita sa feed mo. God bless”
Regine then received support from other celebrities in the comments section including Angeline Quinto, Rita DAniela, and Melai Cantiveros who also had the same experience with bashers.
