Actor Rey ‘PJ’ Abellana made a clarification regarding his statement on the breakup issue of his daughter, Kapuso star Carla Abella with her husband, fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez.
It can be recalled that on his interview with entertainment columnist and broadcaster Cristy Fermin for her program ‘Cristy Ferminute’, Rey talked about the alleged third party issue in the relationship of Carla and Tom.
“Nay, honestly speaking, hindi po natin mako-consider na third party ang sitwasyon. Ang pangyayari ay one-night stand e. So, hindi po natin kino-consider yun na third party.” Rey said.
In an interview for GMA’s “24 Oras”, Rey clarified his statement about the ‘one-night stand’ issue. According to Rey, Tom already explained his side regarding the said issue to Carla. Rey also shared that the ‘one-night stand’ issue involving Tom is not true and it didn’t happen as he was able to avoid it.
“At first, may nakarating po at nalaman ni Carla na may issue na one night stand na involve si Tom. Si Tom naman was already able to explain kay Carla na wala naman din pong katotohanan ito at naiwasan naman din niya na mangyari iyon. So, wala pong natuloy na one night stand according to Tom’s side naman.” Rey said.
“Yun po ang scenario sa issue roon sa one night stand, napa-shortcut lang po, napa-abrupt lang po yung pagkasabi ko kay nanay Cristy na napag-isipan ng masama.” Rey added.
Rey also shared that Carla sent him a message after his interview with Cristy.
“She was mad, she was questioning me why I came up that way. Of course I explained it to her right away. And after my explanation, explaining my side, hindi na naman siya nag message din ule.” Rey shared.
