Actor Robin Padilla apologized to his collegues working in ABS-CBN and GMA7 over his remarks involving ABS-CBN franchise issue and labor. Robin was very vocal about his position regarding how network workers should be treated.
But after the smoke has cleared, Robin apologized for allowing his emotions to get the best of him:
“Praise be to God! Pabida daw ako sabi ng netizen pasensya na po kayo ilang dekada rin po ako na nagbida sa maraming pelikula at teleserye katunayan ako po ay pinalad na maranasan ang golden era ng movies at television when monopoly is still not the language but passion and expression when making movies and shows are like paintings not factory made
70 percent ng workers sa movie industry are living in poverty at sila yun mga nasa ground and almost 90 percent ng lead actors and actresses character actors and actresses die in poverty and shame some are exploited to gain mercy and financial assistance
The King himself Eddie Garcia died in vain and in pain while performing his duty as an actor …
as a gift to my wife this valentines day I apologize to all her family and friends in abscbn ganon din sa gma at tv5 patawarin niyo ako the ex convict in me overtook my emotions inaamin ko ang aking pagiging mapusok i could have said my piece in a spiritual way “Lets give the profit of our labor to our employers but our voices to the laborers” @marieltpadilla”
