Rosmar Tan and Rendon Labador face possible persona non grata status in Coron

Vloggers Rosmar Tan and Rendon Labador faced possible persona non grata status in Coron, Palawan after a viral video showing the two having an altercation with municipal staff member Jho Cayabyab Trinidad.

Trinidad posted a message on Facebook saying that the group of Rosmar (‘Team Malakas’) only used the people of Coron for social media content and the municipal staff helped them but were not compensated.

“Ginamit nyo lang mga taga Coron para sa mga vlog vlog nyo at socmed……dismayado dahil naghintay sila ng isang oras at gutom…at lalong ginamit nyo mga staff para mag assist sa inyo tapos Wala kayong inabot kahit singkong duling” said Trinidad.

Based on the video posted online, Rosmar and Rendon had a discussion / argument with Trinidad:

“Ano bang pinagmamalaki mo, sino ka ba dito? Porket hindi ka nabigyan. Pumunta kami dito para tumulong at i-promote ang Coron. “Ang kapal ng mukha mo, sino bang pinagmamalaki nito dito? Bakit niyo pinapayagan yung mga ganitong klase ng staff ng munisipyo?” said Rendon on the video.

Because of the incident, a member of the municipal council of Coron by the name of John Patrick Reyes posted a resolution to declare Rosmar and Rendon “persona non grata”:

“RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, to declare Rendon Labador, Rosemarie Tan Pamulaklakin a.k.a. Rosmar and Marki Tan as persona non-grata in the Municipality of Coron, Palawan for their disrespectful behavior, negative publicity, incitement to conflict, and violation of Republic Act No. 10951, also known as the ‘Property and Damage Penalty Adjustment Act’; Article 153 of the Revised Penal Code; and Republic Act No. 11313, also known as the ‘Safe Spaces Act (Bawal Bastos Law).’”
