Actress and comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto recently expressed concern and worry after her Instagram account with already more than 800k followers has been hacked.
In a series of tweets, Rufa warned her fans about her hacked Instagram and e-mail account and asked for help from her Twitter followers in order to retrieve it.

After a week, the comedienne was able to retrieve her accounts and announced her Instagram comeback with a witty post, as if she was a contestant in a beauty pageant.
She wrote: “It is never too late to start a new BEGINNING.
2019 started off weirdly for me. I woke up on the first day of the year to the news that my Instagram account was hacked. I was shocked when I figured that someone stole my page! I didn’t know what to do. For someone like me who is not techy, I quite panicked knowing that the hacker might do something bad using my page and I was clueless on how to retrieve it! More than anything, I was scared that the hacker would harm my family and friends using the power of technology.
Thankfully, God sent His angels to help me retrieve my page. A big thank you to Ms. Betchay Vidanes @betchayvidanes and her whole team for helping me get back my Instagram page. I am very grateful as well to the people behind @instagram for working hand in hand with us for my account to be returned. Also, I would like to thank my family and friends for all the advice and suggestions you gave me when I was still solving my social media predicament. I love you all!”
