Actress Sandy Andolong-De Leon penned a message for all the bashers of her daughter, former beauty queen Mariel De Leon.
Entertainment columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis took to her Instagram account to share her thoughts and opinions when Mariel’s photo was seen at Times Square, New York City.

“Wow naman Salve sa Times Square ipinakita ang picture ni Mariel de Leon kahit sandali lang kaya proud na proud mga parent niyang sila Christopher de Leon at Sandy Andolong. Nakapunta ka na sa Times Square Salve kaya alam mo na sentro ito ng New York kung saan halos libo libong tao ang dumaraan. Iyon sandaling iyon, sure ako millions ang tao na nakakita sa photo ni Mariel kaya medyo tumindig ang balahibo niya ng makita at malaman niya.
Malaking sakripisyo iyon ginawa na Mariel to reach her dream, iyon mag isang nanduon malayo sa mommy at daddy niua. Buti na lang at nanduon ang kapatid na si Gabriel at nasa San Francisco naman si Miguel. Matapang din si Mariel na sumabak sa lahat ng auditions para maging model sa New York na talagang cut throat ang competiton.
