Earlier news revealed that the Manny Pacquiao Foundation, in partnership with the Jack Ma Foundation, managed to procure and donate around fifty thousand test kits to the Philippines.
Updates on this process have shared that fifty-seven thousand kits, costing around four hundred million pesos overall, have been turned over to Doctor Rongene Solanto and representatives from the Philippine General Hospital.

Doctor Solanto is head of the San Lazaro Hospital’s infectious disease unit.
Former boxing champion and Senator Manny Pacquiao is one of many celebrities who have chosen to spend their time in quarantine donating to frontliners and the disenfranchised. Apart from his relief efforts, he also recently shared his at-home workout routine through his wife Jinkee Pacquiao’s Facebook.
