Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto suggested that instead of opening malls, why not open churches instead. The Philippine government has implemented the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) policy starting May 16, 2020. The country was in ECQ for almost two months to prevent the COVID-19 virus from spreading.
