TAPE Inc. was granted the certification of renewal of registration for “Eat Bulaga” trademark by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines.
The trademark registration was renewed by TAPE Inc. on June 14, 2023, and is effective until June 14, 2033.
Both TAPE, Inc. and Tito, Vic and Joey are still awaiting the decision on who is the rightful owner to use the name ‘Eat Bulaga’ in their respective shows.
TVJ claimed that it was them who coined the title ‘Eat Bulaga,’ but at the same time TAPE Inc. claimed that they were the first ones to register it.
