Music icon Kenny Rogers, the man behind the hit songs ‘Through The Years’, ‘Lady’, ‘Islands in the Streams’, ‘You Decorated My Life’ and many more has passed away at the age of 81, his family announced early Saturday (March 21, 2020).
The family said Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family. The family also added that they are planning a small private service at this time out of concern for the national COVID-19 emergency. They look forward to celebrating Kenny’s life publicly with his friends and fans at a later date.

Rogers had 24 number-one hits through out his career and is a six-time County Music Association winner. He also garnered three Grammy awards and was nominated 19 times.
