Angel Locsin, one of the faces of the recent Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy 2019, promotes a fundraising project in benefit of hospitals in need of resources to raise tents.
Coordinating with all three donation channels – GoGetFunding, PayMaya and Locsin‘s Eastwest bank account via online money transfer services, they were able to gather over 3 million as of date. Supported by her fiancé Neil Arce and her co-star bestfriend Dimples Romana, they were able to encourage the fund raising last March 25 and still is working to gather for more.

Locsin expressed her deep appreciation and gratefulness to the people who contributed and prayed for the project.” Sa nakaraang 3 araw po with your donations to #UniTENTweStandPH now amounting to over 3M pesos, here are the 28 hospitals who will benefit from your kindness and generosity…muli, Maraming Maraming Salamat po mula sa amin.” Seen in the IG post of Locsin are the 28 hospitals as beneficiaries of the project.
Welcoming more possible beneficiaries of the project, Angel calls for more requests from hospitals in need of help: “once we finalize the arrangements and setting up of the required tents for these hospitals, we will update you thru our social media accounts and add to the list and cater to more requests for tent donations using the remaining money pagkatapos pong mabigyan ang 28 hospitals na ito.”
Dimples Romana also posted a word of appreciations in her official IG account saying, “sa lahat po ng nagpadala ng kanilang tulong, Maraming Maraming Salamat po.”
