Veteran actor Julio Diaz together with his driver was arrested by the police in his house in Meycauayan Bulacan in a buy-bust operation on Friday, April 20.
In a short video posted by ABS-CBN reporter Doland Castro on Twitter, the 59-year-old ‘Asintado’ actor admitted using illegal drugs but denied accusations about drug pushing.
He said: “Eh nagkataon lang naman siguro na… Since na mayroon palang buy-bust operation na sinasabi eh… Hindi ko ho alam ang ano ko…”
When asked if he is guilty of drug pushing, the actor insisted: “Ang pagtutulak ho is hindi. Siguro paggamit lang ho.”

Julio’s name has been in the Meycauayan drug watch list released in July 2016.
