Veteran comedian Matutina (Evelyn Bontogon-Guerrero in real life passed away February 14, 2025, Valentine’s Day. Her daughter Shiela Guerrero confirmed her passing with sadness. Matutina was 78 years old.
Matutina passed away due to acute respiratory failure.
Matutina started her entertainment career as a radio talent. She became a household name in televisio by playing the role of a house helper to the affluent Doña Delilah G. Jones, portrayed by the late Dely Atay-Atayan, in “John and Marsha.”
