Actors and TV hosts Vice Ganda and Kim Chiu were named top celebrity taxpayers by the city government of Quezon City. Vice and Kim here honored in a simply ceremony.
“Obligado tayo magbayad ng buwis at dapat natin gawin yun. Pakatapos natin magbayad ng buwis, tatanungin natin nasaan na po ang quality of life? Nasaan na po ang projects? Nasaan po ang tulay? Bakit po bumagsak ang tulay sa Isabela?” said Vice.
For her part, Kim Chiu said on her Instagram page:
“Honored to be recognized as one of the top taxpayers in the media industry. As responsible citizens, it’s important to understand our tax obligations and how they contribute to nation-building. Thank you, BIR, for this recognition-let’s continue to support a stronger economy together!
May this award inspire more individuals and businesses to uphold integrity and responsibility in tax compliance.
