Actor and TV host Vice Ganda made an appeal to netizens to stop bashing and criticizing Axel and Christine, the searchee and searcher of It’s Showtime segment “EXpecially For You.”
The issue began after Axel allegedly tried kissing Christine and Vice called out his attention. The said action did not sit well with some netizens.
“So, let’s stop shaming Christine na sinasabing ‘Napakaarte mo, hindi ka naman maganda.’ Karapatan po ni Christine iyon. At si Axel, bilang tao, karapatan rin po niyang matuto kaya bigyan natin siya ng pagkakataong matuto. Let’s stop bashing them.” said Vice.
“Kung gusto niyo po akong i-bash, okay lang sa akin. Kung sinasabi niyong kasalanan ko ‘to, okay lang. Pero nakikiusap po kami, kung maaaari, huwag niyo pong i-bash si Axel at si Christine.” Vice added.
“And again, Axel, Christine, nandidito kami, sasamahan namin kayo iproseso at gagabayan namin kayo [hanggang] sa tuluyan natin ‘tong malampasan at kapulutan ng aral.” Vice said.
