TV host Vice Ganda and the rest of the “It’s Showtime” family were surprised when a contestant greeted her ‘kabit’ or lover on national TV.
“Shoutout sa asawa ko… ay sa kabit ko, sorry,” greeted the contestant.
Vice immediately corrected the lady contestant and added that they should not be proud to have an illicit affair.
“Uy, No. Hindi natin sina-shoutout yun. That’s very wrong. Okay. Hindi ipinagmamalaki yan ate,” said Vice.
The lady contestant apologized but Vice gave her some life lessons.
“Kahit na, hindi, hindi maganda yung salitang yon, lalo na sa tanghali. Ano ka ba, ang dami na naming issue, dadagdag ka pa.” Vice added.
“Yes. We don’t normalize and romanticize that,” Vice insisted.
