Fans and followers of Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto expressed their admiration as he responded to a public administration student who asked his help for their group assignment.
In his Twitter account, Mayor Vico shared a photo as he responded to a student who asked his help for a group assignment. The said 2nd year student asked Mayor Vico
“Hi, Mayor Vico! I’m a 2nd year Public Administration student. I just want to ask about your thoughts in this question for a group assignment:
How the public can best participate in the planning process of LGUs?”
Mayor Vico answered the said student as he can’t help but laugh and apologize for his handwriting.
“Ordinary citizens should take advantage of the mechanisms for participation that the government has to offer.
Brgy. level — Brgy. assemblies, brgy. development councils
City level — Join/form NGOs/CSOS… get accredited by the LGU, participate in the selection of NGOs/CSOS reps for the local special bodies such as the City Development Council, etc. (search for DILG M.C.) → Dito dumadaan budget ng LGU bago maisalang sa Sanggunian.
Pasensiya na sa handwriting ko, hehe” Written in the photo that Mayor Vico shared.
Mayor Vico also wished the student well as he captioned his post:
