Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto expressed his appreciation to actors Angel Locsin ang Anne Curtis for donating PhP 1 million pesos to the city of Pasig as part of their proceeds in the “Shop and Share” project.
Mayor Vico can’t help but praised the two celebrities because their donation came with no fanfare whatsoever.
“”Dinonate nila ito walang fanfare, walang media. Ni hindi nga kami nagkita. Iniwan lang nila yung tseke,” Vico said in a Facebook live video.
Vico went on to thanked all those who provided help to the City of Pasig: “Thank you sa lahat nang tumutulong, nagmamalasakit, alam ko man o hindi,” Vico said.
Mayor Vico said the donations will be used to buy more COVID-19 vaccines.
