Actress and Batangas Representative Vilma Santos-Recto expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments as she reacted to the rumors that her son, actor and TV host Luis Manzano is gay.
In the latest YouTube vlog of Luis, he featured his mother for an interview. Luis’s wife, actress Jessy Mendiola was also present in the said vlog. During the vlog, Vilma answered several questions from the netizens. One of the questions asked was her reaction on the rumors and issues that Luis is gay.
“Anong masasabi mo dun… duon sa nagsasabi na o yung mga kumakalat na issues na gay daw ako.” Luis asked Vilma.
“Hindi naman, hindi ko naman ano anak, yung mga bashing, yung nababasa ko nga anak eh. Wala, hindi po ako natatablan ng mga ganun. Hindi ako affected as a mom. Kasi I know you (Luis) better than them.” Vilma said.
“Kung alam mo yung sarili mo, kahit sinong mang-bash sayo, nothing to worry. Mas kilala mo yung sarili mo kaysa sakanila.” Vilma added.
