Vilma Santos shares why she refuses to run for Vice President

Actress and Deputy Speaker Batangas 6th District Rep. Vilma Santos-Recto shared the reason why she refused to run for Vice President.

In a virtual interview with entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin for her show “Cristy Ferminute”, Vilma expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments as she shared the reason why she refused the offers to run for Vice President.

Vilma shared.

Vilma also shared that she doesn’t want to be unfair to those who will vote for her.

Vilma said.

Vilma said.

“Pero pag binigyan ako ng offer na alam kong they will just rely on my name, kasi sikat, hindi po, hindi ko tatanggapin ate Cristy… Yung pagtakbo for a higher position like Vice President, President, malayong malayong malayo po sa isip ko yun….” Vilma added.
