Viva Artists Agency, Inc. filed a lawsuit against singer-actress Nadine Lustre for allegedly violating her contract with the agency. The lawsuit came almost a year Nadine announced that she is cutting ties with Viva.
In a statement, Viva said Nadine supposedly has been contracting projects on her own without the consent of Viva who maintained that Nadine is still their contract star and should work for them exclusively.
“Despite her continued success as an exclusive artist of VAA for almost a decade, Nadine still chose to violate and disregard her contract with VAA,” said Viva.
“The case seeks, among others, to stop Nadine from continuously violating her Agency and Management Agreement with VAA and for Nadine to honor her contract,” the agency added.
